Winter Tires Should Be Removed When Warm Temperatures Arrive

Now that the winter is starting to wind down, it's time to think about routine vehicle maintenance for the warmer weather. Part of this maintenance should include switching your tires to a warm weather version. While it might seem like you could easily keep your winter tires on throughout the winter, this isn't the best idea. Driving winter tires around on dry pavement all summer will prematurely wear down the tread on them. You'll be replacing your tires before you even get to the next winter.

It might seem like a lot of money to invest in two different sets of tires. In the long run, you'll end up saving a lot of money. Switching between the two when it is most appropriate to use them will provide your vehicle with the safest tire option available. It will also allow you to keep your tires for a few years.
